FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is UdyogFlow GST-compliant for Indian garment exporters?
Yes. UdyogFlow generates GST-compliant tax invoices with HSN codes, export invoices with FOB / CIF / CFR terms, and e-invoice JSON ready for the IRP portal. Multi-currency for buyer payments is built in, and your CA can export everything to Tally or any audit format. Compliance updates roll out as soon as GST rules change.
Does UdyogFlow support AQL audits and defect logs?
Yes — AQL 2.5 and 4.0 templates are built in, with sample-size auto-pick based on lot quantity. QC runs at three gates: incoming materials, in-process, and final audit. Every defect is photo-tagged, severity-graded, and routed to a rework loop. Final reports are buyer-shareable as PDF and aligned with major buyer compliance manuals.
Can my supervisors record daily production on WhatsApp?
Yes — that's a core flow. Your supervisor sends a message like "ORD-001 stitching 200" to the factory's UdyogFlow WhatsApp number, the AI parses it, validates against the live order, and updates the production board instantly. The owner gets a 3-line digest at 8 PM with output, delays and shipments. No new app to learn.
How is UdyogFlow different from Tally and Zoho Books for a garment factory?
Tally and Zoho are accounting tools — they post entries after work happens. UdyogFlow runs the work: orders, BOM, cutting, bundles, daily output, QC, dispatch — then feeds clean GST and export entries to Tally automatically. Your CA still uses Tally; you stop chasing supervisors on WhatsApp and Excel for production data.
Does UdyogFlow handle BOM versioning and size × color matrices?
Native. Every style has a versioned BOM (e.g. v1 sample, v2 production) with full diff view. Buyer POs are entered as a size × color grid that rolls up to fabric, trims, and packing ratios automatically. The matrix locks on order confirmation so accidental edits can't break costing or cutting downstream.
Is my factory data secure and isolated from other tenants?
Yes. UdyogFlow is multi-tenant with strict row-level isolation — every query is scoped to your tenant, no exceptions. Data is hosted in India (Mumbai region), encrypted in transit and at rest, with daily backups and 30-day retention. The AI assistant never sees other tenants' data; every query is audit-logged.
Do you support exporters with FOB/CIF invoices and Bills of Lading?
Yes. Export invoices support FOB, CIF, CFR and EXW Incoterms with port of loading, currency lock per order, and HSN-mapped tax computation. Bills of Lading and packing lists attach to the dispatch, AWB is captured, and the buyer dispatch email goes automatically. Shipping bill data is exportable for ICEGATE filing.
How long does UdyogFlow take to implement for a 200-person factory?
A 200-person factory is typically live in 2–3 weeks on our Growth plan. Week one: data setup (buyers, styles, BOM, vendors). Week two: WhatsApp integration and floor training. Week three: parallel run with your existing process. Implementation is founder-led at first — no third-party SI charges, no waterfall handoff.
