FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does UdyogFlow capture board specs (GSM, BF, ply) and film laminate specs per item?
Yes. Item master for board and film holds GSM, BF, ply, film type, laminate spec, micron, lay-flat width — whatever you actually quote and buy on. Specs flow into BOM, costing and procurement. Mis-match between ordered spec and received spec triggers a GRN flag automatically.
Can I manage my die plate library with location, condition, last-used date?
Yes. Die master records storage location, last-used date, condition (good / wear / refurb due), associated artwork, and historical impressions. Dies due for refurbishment surface in the daily digest. Production gets blocked on dies marked unfit, so you don't damage a job with a worn die.
Does UdyogFlow track per-machine run rate and waste % daily?
Yes. Run rate and waste % are first-class metrics, captured per machine per shift. Your operator records start / pause / end times and waste qty; the system computes effective run rate against the benchmark. Owners see machine-wise efficiency in the daily digest, with bottleneck machines flagged.
Can scrap board and film be reconciled against material issued?
Yes. Every material issue (board roll to printer, film roll to laminator) reconciles on job completion — finished goods, scrap, and waste roll-off accounted for separately. Excess scrap triggers a flag. Roll-end inventory updates automatically, so half-used rolls aren't 'lost' till month-end stocktake.
How does pallet packing and dispatch work for packaging customers?
Pallet packing lists generate from the order. Each pallet captures box count, weight, dimensions and label spec. Buyer dispatch email goes automatically with the pallet list, packing list, BL or LR. ICEGATE-format shipping bill data exportable for exporters. AWB / lorry number captures on dispatch confirmation.
Will machine operators record run output over WhatsApp?
Yes. Operators send a message — "PRINTING-LINE-2 ORD-2026-019 6,500 sheets" — and the system records run output, machine utilisation and waste live. Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil and Punjabi parsing works for common operation names. No new app, no training friction.
Does UdyogFlow generate GST invoices with HSN per packaging item?
Yes. Each item carries its HSN; GST invoices auto-compute tax per line. E-invoice JSON for IRP, multi-currency for export, and reverse-charge handling where required. Per-order P&L shows margin per dispatch the moment the invoice is raised. Clean Tally export for your CA.
